  • With the spring arrives to the calendar one of the most important annual festivities: Holy Week, a date that in Santiago is lived with special devotion for the beauty of its processions and for the wide offer of leisure that is deployed throughout the city.

  • With the arrival of the cold, more and more pilgrims choose an alternative route to get to Santiago de Compostela: the Winter Way. Thus, the pilgrims travel through impressive natural landscapes through the four Galician provinces. Undoubtedly, a way of doing the road that will not leave anyone indifferent.

  • The museums dotted around the city of Compostela, how could it be otherwise in a city full of history, art and religion as is the city of the Apostle. Without leaving the old town will discover several of them, one of which is very recent addition: the Pilgrimage Museum, which recently premiered new headquarters in the square Platerías, next to the Cathedral, and in the old building occupied by the Bank of Spain, designed in 1939 by architect Romualdo Madariaga Céspedes and built on the plot of houses Espinosa.

  • The marathon athlete Mariluz Viñas will run along the French Way for a good cause:  raise funds for St. Jude Foundation which helps children with cancer in her country, the Dominican Republic. “The Way’s Challenge" will begin on September 27 until October 11, fifteen days in which vines will cover 52 kilometers per day of pilgrimage to the race from Saint Jean Pied de Port to Praza do Obradoiro.
